What We Do
Each evening typically starts around 5:00 with three vans leaving Kalona to pick up and bring the kids to Pathway by 6:30. The rest of the staff meet at 6:00 at Pathway to setup and have a prayer time before the kids arrive.
Once everyone is there we start off by singing some songs, having a testimony and going over the rules. We then split into three groups (ages 5-8, 9-10 and 11-12) Each group goes to a different area. One has a craft in the cafeteria, another plays games in the gym and the other group goes to the chapel for a Bible lesson. About every 20 minutes the groups rotate. To finish up the evening, everyone meets back together for a quick quiz on the lesson and then are dismissed for snack. Following the snack we pack up and take the kids home around 9:00. The rest of the staff stay at school for a prayer and debriefing time followed by a thorough cleaning of the gym.

Goal for 2014
This year we are working hard to raise extra money to cover the expenses of taking the older kids from Kids Club and Staff to the Creation Museum in KY! This trip, including bus tickets, motels, and entrance fees is going to cost about $6,000!
And we still have our yearly operating expenses of about $8,000 which means we need to sell a LOT of pizzas!

How You Can Help!
As with any ministry there are financial needs which include: Transportation, expenses, & rewards for the kids.
To help cover these expenses, we are selling Home Made Pizzas as a fundraiser and would appreciate your help by purchasing pizzas or sponsoring the ingredients needed to make the pizzas.
Our goal is to sell at least 1,600 pizzas by April 12, 2014.
Estimated ingredients for the pizzas will cost around $6,000 and we would appreciate all the help we can get.
Thank you for all you do, to make Kid’s Club possible!
